Thank you for perusing my site! I am a visual artist based in Mill Valley, California. My work explores the connection between nature, movement, and awareness. Inspired by the trails of the American River Canyon and Mount Tamalpais, I use acrylics, oils, cold wax, and textured mediums on large canvasses to create flowing, layered pieces meant to inspire you to pause and be present in your surroundings. With a background in visual arts, graphic design, and massage therapy, my creative process is intentional as far as having a general plan for the piece, but intuitive as it unfolds. My hope is to transport viewers into a space of authentic connection–with themselves, with nature, and with what might lie just beyond the surface.
I earned a degree in Visual Arts from UC San Diego and built a successful career in graphic design before becoming a massage therapist, a profession I've practiced for more than 20 years. My hands-on understanding of energy, healing, and presence deeply informs my art, with strokes that mirror breath, energy, and flow.
